Stock Availability and Delivery Terms and Conditions

Does 'In Stock' mean in stock?

Generally if we say it's in stock it means it's in stock but at checkout the stock availability will be confirmed. If at checkout you get a line item that says “Item cannot be supplied in the quantity required and will be back ordered”, this means it is in stock with the supplier and will be ordered from them on the same day. The item will be delivered 3-4 days later. If this is not the case then we will notify you and will not process your payment without your permission. All prices are in Pounds Sterling and include VAT at the current rate.

Backorders

Items that will be put on back order will typically take between 3-4 working days to arrive at your door as they have to be ordered from the supplier. If the item is out of stock with the supplier you will be notified by email and text (if you supplied a mobile number) as to an expected delivery date. You will then be given the option to proceed with your purchase or cancel your order. Payment via PayPal will not be claimed until we have a reply from you and you are happy with the expected delivery dates.

Out of Stock

If an item you require is Out of Stock then we can still order this from the supplier and you will get a further 5% discount. Out of stock items cannot be added to your basket, instead you need to email sales@ardentracing.com with the SKU number and description for the item(s) you require. Within 2 hours we will come back to you with an expected delivery date.

Order Processing and Despatch

Providing your order has no back order items and providing we receive your order before 15:00 it will be despatched same day. Exceptions are Weekends and Bank Holidays

Order Collections

If you wish to collect your order then we can be very flexible, you can collect from our track facility, meet up with us at racing events, or we can take items home with us so you collect after hours.

Don’t let the wife know the cost!

We’ve all been there, and rarely do we want our wives to know how much we really spend on our hobby. So we offer a free service where we will ensure that the invoice is not included in your parcel, and will be sent to just your email account. To apply this, send an email to sales@ardentracing.com after you have placed your order along with your Ardent Racing order number stating you want the “Don’t let the wife know the cost” option. (Please note we cannot be held responsible if this process fails, but we will try our best)

Free Shipping

Free shipping is applied to all orders that total over £100 and is sent via Royal Mail First class post. If you require Insurance and Next day Guarantee you should add the item “Special Delivery” to your shopping cart.

Delivery Services

Free shipping and standard shipping is via Royal Mail first class where we will obtain a proof of shipping via the Royal Mail counter. If you require Insurance and Next day Guarantee you should add the item “Special Delivery” to your shopping cart. Fuel & Aerosols: Will incur a surcharge of £5.00 for next working day courier as it is illegal to send these products through the post. This will be taken from your PayPal authorisation and will only appear on your PayPal notifications.

International Customers

We have and will continue to supply our international friends, but with the Euro and Dollar so strong it is unlikely we can be that price competitive. Shipping cost will be confirmed before order is shipped and on your approval will be taken from your PayPal authorised payment before it is shipped. Where applicable, VAT will be refunded to your PayPal account or card when we process your order. For heavy/bulky items please email for delivery costs. All shipments are governed by the Terms and Conditions of delivery as stated by each individual carrier. Ardent Racing Limited will not accept claims for liability or loss against late delivery of any goods.
